I have been privileged to have 9 dogs, 6 cats, 2 birds and a variety of rodents and reptiles in our family since I was a child. I have an abiding respect for animals, especially companion animals who give us unconditional love and tolerate all of our human foibles. They make us laugh, comfort us when our hearts are broken, protect us and ask nothing in return but an occasional treat and a good petting. You can’t look into the eyes of a dog and not see the love that lives within.

 

           As an attorney, I have offered my services to animal rescues when needed. I know the dedication of rescue workers and the families who adopt sick or injured animals to give them a good and loving home. The expense and emotional toll are great. I also know the heartbreak of losing a pet, whether after a long full life or when taken too early from illness or accident. As an artist, I want to create a beautiful hand painted portrait honoring the love, loyalty and goofy spirit of your furry family members.
